Finding the support you need at a large school like Rutgers—New Brunswick can sometimes seem challenging, but Undergraduate Academic Affairs provides students with meaningful resources, communities, and support networks that can help you succeed. Departments within UAA ensure that all students, regardless of their backgrounds, have access to the resources they need in the face of academic challenges.
Find the support you need:
- Rutgers Learning Centers: We provide free and direct academic support to students both in and out of the classroom such as peer-led tutoring, academic coaching, writing coaching, study groups, and academic success workshops. Rutgers Learning Centers provide leadership opportunities through the Learning Assistant Program and training for our peer tutors. We partner with faculty to create an optimal student learning experience for studnets.
- Pre-Law Advising: We counsel students interested in preparing for admission to law school. The term "pre-law" best describes all training, studies, and experience which precede formal law study.
- Student Access & Educational Equity: We provide academic, personal, career, financial aid advising, and financial literacy for first-generation, low income, and underrepresented students from those just enrolling at Rutgers to students pursuing graduate and professional school.
