Rutgers is a large institution, and too often high-potential students struggle to connect with the resources, communities, and support networks that could help them succeed. UAA supports students from across the university, providing guidance and services to an incredibly diverse student body. Departments within UAA ensure that all students-regardless of their backgrounds-have access to the resources they need in the face of academic challenges.
Find the support you need:
- Office of Disability Services: We recognize that diverse abilities are a source of strength, empowerment, and enrichment for the entire university community and we are committed to the elimination of physical, instructional, and attitudinal barriers
- Learning Centers: We provide free academic support to students both in and out of the classroom. We also provide resources for academic support, create student leadership opportunities, and work with faculty to create an optimal student learning experience.
- Pre-Law Advising: We counsel students interested in preparing for admission to law school. We use the expression "pre-law" as a way to describe all training, studies, and experience which precede formal law study.
- Student Access & Educational Equity: We provide academic, personal, career, financial aid advising, and financial literacy for first generation, low income, and underrepresented students from high school through graduate and professional school.
